These Violent Pictures Needed A Supporting Cast
True Stories presents the work of two visual artists investigating the spaces between the ritual act of storytelling and how they impact one’s own personal and collective reality. Through the act of painting and sculpture, both artists look to their collective histories to transform violence, religion, mass media, collective timelines, and everyday life into objects imbued with fact and fable...laid bare and na- ked for the viewer to make up their own truth and what that means.

Documenting A Momentous Occasion
It has been almost twenty years since these two artists have exhibited work together...so it was imperative we document the occasion using one of the best photographers we have had the pleasure of working with...the great Byron C. Jones. Byron did an excellent job utilizing the natural light of the space to add a new depth to the exhibition's presentation to the masses.
